Our
eleventh and final Wealth Protection Conference went off
without a hitch. We now feel much better, not just about
surviving, but actually prospering, as we anticipate what
for most people is likely to be a very uncertain future.
This conference gave “actionable advice” about the
marketplace and financial assets, with ideas about
protecting our money and thoughts about what is likely to
happen in the near future. We truly believe that the quality
of this information and the way it was delivered, would be
difficult, if not impossible to find elsewhere.
Unlike our Wealth Protection conference, most
financial seminars are just expensive, sales-orientated
events with narrow subject matter, delivered in a
canned-approach format. We focus on a broad range of topics,
brought to you by successful men and women who truly know
whereof they speak. Our number one purpose is to offer you
reliable, authoritative sources of information with
outstanding potential, so you can think about and then apply
this knowledge in ways that fit your investing temperament
and financial goals.
As we have been doing for years, Wealth Protection 2008
began with a hosted reception on Friday evening. The
attendees were able to mingle and talk one-on-one with the
speakers and other guests. You can learn more at a reception
like this than most conferences could provide you with in a
lifetime. There were people from business, government, the
media, retirees, brokers, traders, individual investors and
collectors. When brought together in this environment, each
person became a great source of shared information.
Friday evening not only brought us in touch with many people
from all over the country, but was also the time when we
began our presentations. First to the podium was Mr. Jim
Liles, a commodity futures broker with 30 years of
experience. As an annual presenter for us, he is certainly
no stranger to our Wealth Protection conference. Each year,
he demonstrates his keen understanding of the commodities
markets and how to trade them. Past attendees report they
often make thousands of dollars from just one of
Jim’s suggestions.
Jim always talks about that one special trade he believes
can result in mega-profits, and this year was no different.
If you would like to hear what Jim himself feels could be
this year’s “lottery ticket” you’ll want to purchase a CD
set of the conference from us to find out. We think you’ll
be as impressed as we were!
Immediately after Mr. Liles finished his talk, our Host and
Wealth Protection organizer, Pat Gorman addressed the
audience. He mentioned that while this would most likely be
the last conference he would be presenting, he had
nevertheless taken on a new and exciting project as Chairman
of the Board of Constitution Mining Corp. (OTC: CMIN) a
company dedicated to the advancement of Honest Money and the
building of shareholder value by way of acquiring and
holding undervalued gold and silver properties. Pat wrote
the book on this topic, entitled “The Value of Honest
Money,” a copy of which can be yours for the asking by
visiting the company’s website at:
http://constitutionmining.com
Pat then introduced his surprise guest, the CEO of
Constitution Mining, Dr. Willem Fuchter, who had flown all
the way from Buenos Aires, Argentina to give us an in-depth
review of the company, its philosophy, its projects, and
most important for future growth and success…its people.
After an enlightening power point presentation, Willem
deftly fielded questions from the audience.
Noting that investing never comes with a guarantee, Pat
believes this is a rare opportunity for those who’ve done
their homework, to participate in a company which just might
change the way the mining sector does business. And Pat,
always the man to walk his talk, has placed his own money on
the line to prove it!
“At this conference, the only thing
more obvious than the audience’s desire to learn as much
as they can, is the willingness of the speakers to give
the very best ideas and suggestions they have.”--T.J.

Saturday morning at 8:00 AM sharp, a full-day’s slate of
activities got underway. The ballroom was filled to capacity
with intelligent people ready to listen, take notes, and ask
questions about everything from the economy to the current
monetary situation.
Dr. Janice Dorn, “The Trading Doctor,” a professional
success coach, author and futures trader with academic
titles and real-world accomplishments as long as your arm,
was first up to the podium. She taught us that to a certain
extent we ALL suffer from some form of financial
dysfunction, and the more quickly we diagnose and correct
the problem, the sooner we can get on with the job of
handling (and acquiring) money more successfully.
Dr. Dorn spoke about her newly-released book “Personal
Responsibility: The Power of You” and helped us understand
how taking charge of ourselves can set the stage for
personal growth on an almost unbelievable scale. This book
has already begun to change people’s lives, and it can do
the same for you. To order a copy, go to her site at

Our good friend Arch Crawford spoke next. Mr. Crawford, a
Wall Street denizen for over 40 years, has been voted the
“Number One” market timer for GOLD in America. A frequent
guest on financial TV programs and radio stations across the
country, his Big Picture commentary on the overall market
draws from a variety of unique and fascinating disciplines.
Speaking to just how difficult the current market scene has
become, Arch commented “Fake-out moves have now become more
common than at any time I have ever seen.” All the more
reason in our view to get his take on where things might be
headed.
“When I attend an investment
conference, I always try to take home one idea that I
can turn into a profitable investment. At Wealth
Protection, I end up with several!” ---W.D. Seattle, WA
Roger Wiegand, editor of the “Trading Tracks” newsletter and
known to friends and subscribers as “Trader Rog” can pack
more into 20 minutes of speaking than most presenters are
able to do in several hours. His ability to take the
market’s pulse (recommending trading strategies based upon
that knowledge) is uncanny. Like our other speakers, Roger
believes we are in for some “interesting times.” Of his 16
formal recommendations, year to date, 15 have been
profitable. On this year’s Wealth Protection CD recording,
you will hear about a pick which has already earned
long-term subscribers almost $40,000 per contract…and
counting.
Next up was Roger’s associate, Jay Taylor, editor of “Jay
Taylor’s Gold and Technology Stocks.” Jay’s in-depth power
point presentation was full of information designed to help
the audience find their own way through the thicket of
thousands of “me-too” stock choices in order to locate “the
best and the brightest” for possible big-time profits. Jay
never hedges his bets, and when you get a glimpse of his
research style you can easily see why he is willing to be
quite clear about why (and where) he stands.
After a filling deli-buffet lunch during the great weather
for which Tempe, AZ is justifiably famous, and surrounded by
idea-sharing attendees, we got right back to business as Ian
McAvity took the microphone. Few newsletter writers have
been in the business as long as Ian. His “Deliberations on
World Markets” based upon chart, technical and inter-market
relationship analysis, has been published since 1972! He is
also the co-founder of the publicly-traded Central Fund of
Canada (CEF), the only mutual fund that trades exclusively
in physical precious metals.
His outspoken free-market based views on finance and
geo-political events are backed by solid research and
decades of results-oriented deliberation. By any account,
Ian McAvity has the right stuff! (And so will you after you
hear what he has to say.)
By the looks of the reams of notes taken and the buzz going
on in the ball room, you could sense that the audience felt
it couldn’t get much better than this…but then it did.
Nick Russo, the final presenter for the day, our Wealth
Conference “clean-up batter,” rose to the podium and began
to speak. Nick shares an outlook common to each of the
conference speakers, and put into words eloquently and
briefly by Pat Gorman himself. Pat says, if you want to lead
a balanced and productive life, “Prepare for the worst, but
expect the best.”
Nick spoke about a convergence of cycles and events leading
to what he calls “The Big Rollover,” which will usher in a
time of monumental socio-economic, financial and political
changes for the U.S. As the current “Quantum Super-cycle”
nears an end, a time of massive asset destruction lies dead
ahead.
On a daily basis through broad-based research, Nick
continually updates his analyses, charting 17 Negative
Trends he has identified as comprising the core of these
impending generational changes. In addition to specific
advice investors can take to ride out the storm and pass
safely through to the other side, he recommends, “To receive
the highest rewards, deliver the most value to the
marketplace, and make sure that what you do is done better
than anyone else.”
“The cost of your CD’s is a
drop in the bucket compared to the value I receive by
listening to them and then acting upon the new
information. I felt this way last year, and I know I
will feel the same way this time around too!” ---R.S.
Milwaukee, WI
After Mr. Russo had concluded his talk, we brought all of
the speakers to the stage for our end of day, round table
discussion. Everyone got involved. The message that rang out
loud and clear was that personal fulfillment and investment
success begins with accepting responsibility for acquiring
and then applying the skills necessary to take you where
you’d like to be. Be consistent, stay focused and enjoy the
journey. And remember that within danger, is also
opportunity.
You too can be there. Again this year’s conference was
